Meet the Resource Person

Dr. Shashank Garg
Associate Professor
Lovely Professional University, Punjab, India
Dr. Shashank Garg is an experienced academician and researcher with expertise in research methodology, systematic literature reviews, meta-analysis, academic writing, and scholarly publication.
His sessions focus on providing practical and research-oriented guidance to participants, helping them understand the complete systematic review and meta-analysis process and apply appropriate techniques for quality academic research.
Participants will gain practical insights into review protocol development, literature searching, quality appraisal, statistical analysis, interpretation of results, and publication-oriented manuscript preparation.
Program Overview:
The Five-Day International Level Hands-on Workshop on “Systematic Review & Meta Analysis” is designed to provide participants with a structured and practical understanding of the complete systematic review and meta-analysis process.
The workshop will guide participants from developing a systematic review protocol and applying the PRISMA framework to developing search strategies, extracting research data, assessing study quality and risk of bias, and understanding meta-analysis techniques.
Participants will also learn about heterogeneity, fixed and random effects models, forest plots, funnel plots, publication bias, prediction intervals, and manuscript writing.
Through live interactive sessions and hands-on demonstrations, the workshop aims to strengthen participants' ability to conduct rigorous, transparent, and publication-oriented systematic reviews and meta-analyses.
