General Terms:

1.     About IIRA
Ideal Institute of Academic & Research Advancement (IIRA) provides academic, research-oriented, and capacity-building programmes including workshops, FDPs, webinars, courses, mentoring, and institutional collaborations.

All services are educational in nature and intended solely for academic enrichment.

2.     No Guarantee of Outcome
IIRA does not guarantee any academic, professional, financial, or career outcome, including publication, funding, admission, promotion, employment, or recognition.

3.     Intellectual Property
All content, materials, recordings, documents, and resources developed or shared under IIRA programmes are the intellectual property of IIRA and/or the concerned resource persons. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

4.     Limitation of Liability
All services are provided on an “as is” basis. IIRA shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, technical issues, or third-party platform failures.

5.     Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Terms for Participants:

·       Eligibility and Registration
Participants must provide accurate information during registration. IIRA reserves the right to deny or cancel participation in case of false or misleading information.

·       Fees and Refund Policy
All registration fees paid by participants are non-refundable and non-transferable. No refund shall be granted for non-attendance, partial attendance, withdrawal, or technical issues at the participant’s end.

·       Programme Modifications
IIRA reserves the right to modify programme content, schedule, speakers, or mode of delivery. Such changes do not entitle participants to a refund unless the programme is cancelled by IIRA.

·       Certificates
Certificates are issued only upon meeting attendance and participation requirements. Certificates do not constitute degrees or statutory qualifications.

·       Code of Conduct
Participants must maintain professional and respectful behavior. Misconduct or misuse of content may lead to removal without refund.

Terms For Resource Person:

  1. Nature of Engagement
    Resource persons, speakers, guest faculty, and experts (“Resource Persons”) are engaged by Ideal Institute of Academic & Research Advancement (IIRA) on an independent academic and professional basis. This engagement does not create any employer–employee, partnership, or agency relationship.

  2. Session Recording and Content Sharing
    Resource Persons expressly consent to the recording of live sessions conducted under IIRA programmes. Such recordings, along with presentation slides (PPTs), reading materials, and related academic content, may be shared with registered participants of the programme for educational purposes.

  3. Use of Content on Digital and Social Media Platforms
    Resource Persons grant IIRA a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, publish, upload, and distribute recorded sessions, excerpts, and related materials on digital and social media platforms, including but not limited to YouTube, institutional websites, learning platforms, and promotional channels, for academic, outreach, archival, and promotional purposes.

  4. Intellectual Property Rights
    The original intellectual property of teaching content created by Resource Persons shall remain with the Resource Person unless otherwise agreed in writing. However, IIRA shall retain perpetual usage rights over recorded sessions and shared materials for the purposes stated above.

  5. Honorarium and Payment
    Resource Persons shall be paid an honorarium as mutually agreed prior to the programme. Honorarium payment shall be subject to:
    • Completion of the assigned session(s)
    • Submission of required documents, if any
    • Applicable tax deductions as per Indian law

Honorarium once paid shall be considered full and final compensation for the engagement.

  1. Academic Autonomy and Opinions
    Views, opinions, case studies, and interpretations shared by Resource Persons are personal academic perspectives and do not necessarily represent the official views of IIRA.

  2. Professional Conduct
    Resource Persons shall maintain professional conduct, academic integrity, and respectful behavior throughout their engagement with IIRA.

  3. Limitation of Liability
    Resource Persons shall not be held responsible for participant outcomes, academic decisions, or professional actions taken based on session content. Similarly, IIRA shall not be liable for individual academic opinions expressed by Resource Persons.

Terms for Collaborating Institutions:

- Nature of Collaboration
Ideal Institute of Academic & Research Advancement (IIRA) may conduct academic programmes in collaboration with colleges, universities, or institutions (“Collaborating Institutions”) for educational, training, and capacity-building purposes only.

Such collaboration does not imply partnership, affiliation, accreditation, franchise, or legal association unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.

- Roles and Responsibilities
IIRA shall be responsible for academic design, content development, resource person coordination, and programme delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Collaborating Institutions shall be responsible for internal approvals, participant coordination, infrastructure support (if applicable), and institutional permissions.

- Event Charges and Financial Responsibility
Collaborating Institutions shall bear the agreed event charges and programme costs in full unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

Such charges may include, but are not limited to:
• Academic programme execution fees
• Resource person honorarium and related expenses
• Content development and delivery costs
• Certification, documentation, and administrative expenses
• Technology and platform charges

- No Revenue Sharing
There shall be no revenue sharing between IIRA and the Collaborating Institution unless explicitly agreed in writing.

Any fees collected from participants by the Collaborating Institution shall remain the sole responsibility of the institution. IIRA shall not claim any share of such collections, nor shall the institution claim any share of IIRA’s professional fees or receipts.

- Payment Terms
Payment amount, mode, and timeline shall be mutually agreed in advance. Unless otherwise stated in writing, full payment shall be made by the Collaborating Institution prior to commencement of the programme.

Failure to make timely payment may result in postponement or cancellation of the programme without any liability on IIRA.

- Certificates and Branding
Certificates may carry the name and logo of IIRA and/or the Collaborating Institution as mutually agreed. Such certificates do not imply statutory recognition, accreditation, or academic credit unless explicitly stated in writing.

- Institutional Autonomy and Liability
IIRA shall not be responsible for internal academic policies, attendance rules, assessments, disciplinary actions, or administrative decisions of the Collaborating Institution.

Similarly, the Collaborating Institution shall not be liable for academic content, teaching methods, or opinions expressed by IIRA or its resource persons.

- Publicity and Use of Name
Use of names, logos, and branding by either party shall be limited to the specific programme and shall not imply long-term association or affiliation.

How consent is obtained:
By providing personal information to register for a programme, make a payment, submit a form, or receive certificates or recordings, you consent to the collection and use of your information for the stated academic and administrative purposes.

If personal information is required for secondary purposes such as academic announcements or outreach, we will seek explicit consent or provide an opt-out option.

Withdrawal of consent:
You may withdraw consent for communication or continued use of your information by contacting IIRA. Please note that withdrawal of consent may affect your ability to receive certificates, recordings, or programme-related services.

SECTION 4 – DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.

SECTION 5 – PAYMENTS

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways such as Razorpay.

IIRA does not store debit/credit card details. Payment information is encrypted and handled in compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).

Transaction data is used only to complete payments and is retained only as required for accounting or legal compliance.

SECTION 6 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

IIRA may use third-party platforms for video conferencing, learning management, payment processing, certificate generation, communication, and analytics.

These third-party providers operate under their own privacy policies. Once redirected to an external platform, you are no longer governed by IIRA’s Privacy Policy.

SECTION 7 – SESSION RECORDINGS & MEDIA USAGE

Academic sessions may be recorded for educational, documentation, archival, training, and promotional purposes.

Recordings, screenshots, excerpts, and related materials may be shared with registered participants or uploaded on digital platforms including institutional websites and social media platforms (including YouTube), in accordance with applicable consent.

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
